رياض الصالحين بالعربية والإنجليزية - (ج 1 / ص 1790)   وعن أبي حميد الساعدي رضي الله عنه قال قالوا : يا رسول الله كيف نصلي عليك ؟ قال : [ قولوا : اللهم صل على محمد وعلى أزواجه وذريته كما صليت على إبراهيم وبارك على محمد وعلى أزواجه وذريته كما باركت على إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد ] متفق عليه 1407. رياض الصالحين بالعربية والإنجليزية - (ج 1 / ص 1780) وعن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما أنه سمع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : [ من صلي علي صلاة صلى الله عليه بها عشرا ] رواه مسلم 1397. `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying: "Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention, Allah will exalt his mention ten times .'' [Muslim]. Commentary: Recitation of Salat upon the Prophet (PBUH) means the recitation of benediction. Such as the one recited in Salat "O Allah, have mercy on Muhammad...)'' It is a prayer for mercy and exaltation of the Prophet (PBUH) which is highly meritorious. (At-Tirmidhi, Hadith Hasan).

I beseech You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment).'' [Muslim]. Commentary: "Guidance'' means guidance towards virtue which one needs at every step. The ability to do good and steadfastness on the Right Path is also covered by the term guidance. رياض الصالحين بالعربية والإنجليزية - (ج 1 / ص 1839) 1448 - وعنه وعن أبي سعيد رضي الله عنهما قالا قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : [ لا يقعد قوم يذكرون الله إلا حفتهم الملائكة وغشيتهم الرحمة ونزلت عليهم السكينة وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده ] رواه مسلم Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When a group of people assemble for the remembrance of Allah, the angels surround them (with their wings), (Allah's) mercy envelops them, Sakinah, or tranquillity descends upon them and Allah makes a mention of them before those who are near Him.'' [Muslim]. Commentary:  This Hadith also highlights the merits of remembrance of Allah and the high grades of the people indulging in it.

1000 دعوة - (ج 1 / ص 7) قال الشيخ بكر أبو زيد ـ حفظه الله ـ: 1ـ النزول في رفعهما مفرقتين أو مقرونتين إلى ما تحت السرة ، أو إلى السرة . 2ـ رفعهما مفرقتين ، رؤوس الأصابع إلى القبلة ، والإبهامان إلى السماء . 3ـ وتقليبهما على عدة جهات حال الدعاء وهزهما . 4ـ مسح الوجه بها بعد الرفع في قنوت الوتر أو نازلة في الصلاة . 5ـ مسح الصدر و الكتفين، بالكفين بعد الفراغ من الدعاء وإفاضة المسح على الجسد 6ـ مسح إحدى اليدين بالأخرى بعد الفراغ من الدعاء . 7ـ تقبيل إبهاميه ووضعهما على العينين عند ذكر اسم النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم . 8ـ رفع الأيدي من الخطيب والمأمومين يوم الجمعة حال الدعاء في الخطبة ولكن يجوز رفع الأيدي حال الخطبة إذا استسقى في الخطبة لثبوت ذلك عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم . 9ـ رفع الأيدي للدعاء بين الإقامة وتكبيرة الإحرام ، أما الدعاء بعد الآذان وبعد الإقامة ، فهو مظنة الإجابة.  - وعنه رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : [ ما من أحد يسلم علي إلا رد الله علي روحي حتى أرد عليه السلام ] رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح . Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Whenever someone greets me, Allah returns the soul to my body (in the grave) and I return his greeting.'' [Abu Dawud]. Commentary : We learn from this Hadith that the Prophet (PBUH) is alive in his grave and he answers the salutation offered by a Muslim. But this life of his is the life of Barzakh (an intervening state between death and the Day of Resurrection, and whoever dies, enters it) the reality of which is not known to us. Thus, it is wrong to say that the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is like worldly life or more vigorous than it. Such a claim is baseless because it is not confirmed by the Qur'an and Hadith. Were he to be alive the way he was in his lifetime, there would have been no need for "the returning of the soul...

Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience).'' [Muslim]. Commentary : This is a very important prayer because through it one seeks steadfastness in virtue. Everybody's heart is always open to troubles, turmoil and ordeals and he is drifting from one situation to the other. If he is not supported by Allah, he can deviate from the Right Path at any moment. أدعية الصلاة - (ج 1 / ص 3 ) وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ حَنِيفاً وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الُمشْرِكِين ، إِنَّ صَلاَتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لله رَبِّ الْعَالَمينَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِك أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا مِنْ المُسْلِمِينَ. اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ، أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَاعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي جَمِيعًا ، إِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ، وَاهْدِنِي لأَحْسَنِ الأَخْلاَقِ ، لاَ يَهْدِي لأَحْسَنِهَا إِلاَّ أَنْتَ ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا ، لاَ يَصْرِفُ عَنِّي سَيِّئهَا إِلاَّ أَنْت ، لَبَّيْكَ ، وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ فِي يَدَيْكَ ، وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ، أَنَا بِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ )).
